The hundred islands national park is in the providence of pangasian in northen philippines.It is located in alaminos city,Pangasian.Theislands(124 at low tide and 123 at hight tide) are scattered along lingayen gulf and cover the area of 18.44 sqiare lo;p,etters (4557acres ).they belived to be abou two million years old only three of them have been developed for turists :Governor island , quezon island and children's island.the islands are actually ancient corals that extend well inland , in area previously comprising the seabet of an ancient sea . lowering sea levls have exposed them to the surface and the peculiar "mushroom" like shapes of some of the island have been cause by the eroding action of the ocean wawes.
